Qualifying Conditions

To qualify for Florida's medical marijuana program, individuals must have a qualifying medical condition recognized under the state's medical marijuana laws. Currently, Florida law explicitly identifies medical conditions that meet the criteria for program eligibility.

Below is a list of qualifying medical conditions for Florida's medical marijuana program. It’s important to note that this list is not exhaustive. Florida law also allows for other medical conditions to qualify if a certified medical marijuana physician determines that the potential benefits of using medical marijuana outweigh any potential negative effects for the patient. Conditions highlighted in bold are those explicitly outlined in Florida's medical marijuana legislation.
